Beach on a sunny day. I conveyed these wonderful impressions in a horizontal picture. First, the study was made directly in the environment. the beach beckoned with even hot sand, and the trees gave a pleasant coolness. The two bicycles in the foreground are travelers' bicycles with a picnic basket. The third bike with a basket is the artist's bike. I felt the triumph of summer when I painted this picture. So alluring and welcome during the colder months.
